In the news, from the politicians, on social media or just opinions of ordinary people, the words “unprecedented” and “inconceivable are used repeatedly to describe the health crisis the world is going through. A health crisis which has put the world in recession and possibly into an economic depression.  
 
The MCO whilst necessary to save lives, has brought a reality to every Malaysian that their lives will be different and livelihoods in jeopardy. The stimulus measures provided by the government will not save all businesses or jobs. Therefore, the question we ask ourselves, as a Law firm, what can GTRZ do to help in such times of crisis. 
 
GTRZ is committed to helping all our clients through this crisis. Every business or company is currently under stress. There will be issues arising from employment law, debt collection, cancelling and or termination of contracts, pressure from creditors, utilization of capital and resources and weighing through the stimulus (if any) provided by the government. 
 
In helping our clients through the crisis, it is my commitment to provide not bare legal information and opinion, but practical business advice. It is my commitment to be our clients ‘trusted business advisor’.  
 
What is needed is clear, hard and truthful advice to our clients to help them survive these times. It could be helping them work through what part of their business to maintain or let go. Assisting them through a retrenchment exercise if it’s necessary. Sale of assets, recovery of debts and even holding off creditors, plus restructuring of their shareholding and partnerships.  

GTRZ, as a firm, does not sell an agreement, a contract, a conveyance, a writ or summons, nor an injunction. GTRZ as a firm, is to assist every clients to work through their problems and achieve their objectives. GTRZ is solution orientated and not legal services oriented. The legal services provided have to be incidental and only necessary for our clients to achieve their objectives or targets. 
 
GTRZ in achieving this, will not charge for any general advice provided to any client. Our lawyers have an open door policy to respond and answer any call or query from our clients. I hope to achieve an open relationship between our clients and GTRZ where there is no hesitation on any issue, even if they are unsure it requires legal advice, to pick up the phone, send an email, to ask our lawyers for their views. 
 
GTRZ only charges if the solution our clients require some form of legal service we are required to provide.
