Imagine, if you will, visiting one of your houses and finding a stranger in the process of renovating it. This issue, where a property or land is sold fraudulently to third parties, is more common in Malaysia than you would think – affecting owners of historic and newer properties alike.

If you are a victim of land fraud, we have got just the lawyer for you. After joining GTRZ in 2012, Qing Qing has gradually become well-versed in the area, having resolved and opposed several such cases. She managed to obtain compensation for the original owners, from the fraudsters and sometimes also from the relevant local authorities.

Other than land fraud lawsuits, she has also handled significant cases covering issues like client-solicitor privilege and cases involving the Mental Health Act. Career & Experience

As a student, Jo Ee found mathematics tedious. Languages, on the other hand, piqued her interest, and she could never pass up a lively debate. When it was time to venture into a profession, law – litigation in particular – seemed like the natural choice. It required her to be a risk-taker, which she already was, and to have dogged determination, something she definitely possess oodles of.

Today, Jo Ee is proficient at managing all phases of the litigation process. At GTRZ, she is known for her expertise in handling tenancy disputes. She represented clients like international fashion and lifestyle brands (sometimes even going up against famous luxury fashion names), as well as local café chains.

Other cases she handled include trespass, as well as construction arbitration in the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration and adjudication under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 (CIPAA), for which she is GTRZ’s resident expert.
